DANCE

THE PEOPLE’S COURT (Co-Coordinator)
2007 - Present
With TV Shows like, “So You Think You Can Dance” and “America’s Best Dance Crew,” Sammie Jo Rumbaua (Sammie Jo Productions) and I have collaborated with PhreshVibe to bring the likeness of those shows to Vancouver with “The People’s Court.” Various hip hop dance crews from the Pacific Northwest come together once a month to dance for a chance to win a cash prize. The winners are based on the crowd’s approval, much like its television counterpart.

DRIVEN TO PERFORM STREET DANCE COMPETITION (Dance Coordinator)
2001 - 2006
As the original coordinators, Melissa Hsieh (Ivory Room Events) and I started from ground zero and worked our way into establishing it as one of Western Canada’s largest all-ages hip hop dance competitions. This role gave me a taste of what events were all about and since then I’ve been hooked.
